Lueke reports on automotive cybersecurity at the GAO
Nancy Lueke (MURP '03), assistant director of the Physical Infrastructure Team at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, was given the task of drawing up a report on the threat level of automotive cybersecurity as Congress considers new legislation. Quoted by Wards Auto, Lueke says the office found automakers are concerned about direct-access soft
spots inside the car, such as CD players and USB ports. But they are
focused more on buttoning down remote access points, including
telematics systems and cellular networks that could provide a path for
hackers to access multiple vehicles at the same time. View the full briefing here. Connect with Nancy on LinkedIn.
