Bayu publishes op-ed in Stanford Social Innovation Review
Mekdelawit Bayu (MDP '16) has published an op-ed in the Stanford Social Innovation Review titled "Supporting a Truly Participant-Centered Approach to Development". The article focuses on the evaluation and effectiveness of unconditional cash transfer (UCT) programs and resistance to using UCTs in development work. Bayu is the assistant program manager for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.
