Glidden quoted for WCCO story

Elizabeth Glidden (MPA '04) is currently the council vice president for the Minneapolis City Council. She was recently quoted in a story about the city's efforts to further transgender equity.

“The City of Minneapolis has long prohibited discrimination based on gender identity, but it’s clear more needs to be done,” Council Vice President Elizabeth Glidden said. “The transgender community – particularly youth and people of color – are disproportionally affected by issues ranging from job placement and evictions to hate crimes. This resolution makes it clear that we will be taking an active role to eliminate these disparities.”

Cao joins Minnesota Department of Human Services

Echeverria-Estrada becomes research assistant

Carlos Echeverria-Estrada (MPP ’12) recently became a research assistant at Cobblestone Applied Research & Evaluation, Inc. Echevarria-Estrada will work on developing case studies and conducting statistical analysis for the evaluation of programs that aim to promote STEM education for underrepresented sub-populations.
