Teresa
Schicker (MPA '13) presented research at the American
Public Health Association National Conference. This was an invited
presentation with School of Nursing Associate Professor Laura Duckett, BSN, MS,
PhD, MPH, RN. The poster presentation was based on Teresa and Laura's
collaborative work in the University of Minnesota Senate and was titled,
"From then until now: 20 years of progress in supporting nursing mothers
at a large public university in the Midwest."
Additionally, Teresa recently took a new position with the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education as project coordinator of a national network of health researchers in interprofessional education and collaborative practice. Teresa was previously a project manager in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
