Odegard joins Minnesota International Center

Tim Odegard (MA ‘98) is now the new program director at the Minnesota International Center (MIC). Tim has nearly 30 years of experience including time spent in India and Costa Rica. He is excited to lead MIC’s globally-themed programs.

Merea joins Yummly

Santiago Merea (MPP ‘08) is now the first chief revenue officer for Yummly. He will be in charge of the company’s effort to drive its revenue streams while working with a wide breadth of brands and companies. He previously worked as an adviser for New Gadget Inc., a consumer technology company in California.

Barta joins Social Solutions International, Inc.

Richard Barta (MPP ‘15) is now a program assistant for Social Solutions International Inc. Social Solutions is a contractor for the Expanding Monitoring and Evaluation Capacities (MECap) task order. MECap works as an institutional support mechanism and is designed to strengthen monitoring and evaluation capacities.

Previously, Richard worked at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs as a research assistant.

Frazier accepts position with Alumni Association

Ambreasha Frazier (MPP ‘12) has accepted the role of director of student and recent alumni engagement for the Alumni Association at the University of Minnesota. She will be working to expand the engagement of alumni with students and graduates from the last decade.
