Owens new job at Thomson Reuters

Kimberly Owens (MPP ‘15) is now a training manager for Thomson Reuters. She will be managing global trainings for all employees on travel as well as global trainings for quarterly finance enhancements.

Kimberly has been working for Thomson Reuters since 2001 and has had various positions including customer service representative, senior business analysis, business systems trainer, ERP finance lead, and most recently, as a deployment manager.

Jacobs earns new job at Humphrey School

Stephanie Jacobs (MPP ‘07) is the new deputy director of the Public and Nonprofit Leadership Center at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She will be leading all outreach and programmatic efforts.

Previously, Stephanie worked as adjunct faculty for the Humphrey School. She taught a skills workshop for students on effective grant writing in public affairs.

Kelley receives new job with City of St. Louis Park

Ryan Kelley (MURP ‘12) is a now a planner for the City of St. Louis Park. Previously he was an associate planner for two and a half years with the City of St. Louis Park.

Nadel joins Korn Ferry

Andrea Nadel (MPP ‘13) is now the training and client education coordinator for Korn Ferry. She will be coordinating public certification events as well as measuring the effectiveness of all training offerings. Andrea will also be working with a design team to produce reusable materials and handouts related to global product content.

DeJonge Schulman works with CNAS

Loren DeJonge Schulman (MPP ‘05) has joined the Center for a New American Society (CNAS) as the Leon E. Panetta Senior Fellow and deputy director of studies. She will be responsible for ensuring CNAS continues to produce rigorous and innovative policy while also producing her own work on national defense strategy and reform.

Loren was previously the senior advisor to the national security adviser, Susan Rice.

Zellmer works with Aurora Consulting

Lisa Zellmer (MA ‘96) is now a senior consultant for Aurora Consulting, LLC. She will be working to strengthen the leadership and governance of different organizations as well as increasing the impact of performance management, evaluation, and sustainability.

Previously, Lisa was the development director for Stages Theater Company where she was in charge or all aspects of fund development.

Racho joins Northwest Area Foundation

Jennifer Racho (MPP ‘12) is now a program officer for Northwest Area Foundation. She was previously the workforce and community engagement manager at CAPI USA, a nonprofit working with immigrants and refugees in the Twin Cities Metro Area.
