Nix joins Metropolitan Council

Noel Nix (MURP ‘10) is now an outreach coordinator for the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities. He will be providing public outreach support to the Metropolitan Transportation Services division of the Metropolitan Council which is responsible for the transportation planning functions in the Twin Cities.

Gabriel joins TrackTown USA

Jessica Gabriel (MPP ‘12) is now an executive assistant for TrackTown USA. Previously, Jessica was a sales associate for Pacers Running.

Heelan joins Metropolitan Council

Erin Heelan (MURP ‘10) is now the transit oriented development grants coordinator for the livable communities department at the Metropolitan Council. Previously, Erin was an adjunct instructor for the department of urban studies at the University of Minnesota.

Krafft co-edits The Egyptian Labor Market in an Era of Revolution

Caroline Krafft (MPP ‘11) was the co-editor, alongside Ragui Assaad, of The Egyptian Labor Market in an Era of Revolution. Caroline is currently a PhD candidate in applied economics at the University of Minnesota. She is currently engaging in research in the labor markets, education, early childhood development, and economics of marriage in Egypt, North Africa, and the Middle East.  

The book will be released in July.

Ferber joins Musicant Group

Nancy Ferber (MURP '14) is now a project manager for the Musicant Group, doing creative placemaking. She will be working as a consultant and event planner for the 29th Street West redevelopment project; focusing on to transforming public and common areas into places where people want to gather. Be sure to stop by 29th and Lyndale on June 7th for an exciting event in the works!

Previously, Nancy worked as an intern with the City of Portland and TriMet, where she managed volunteer green teams and worked within the City's Bureau of Housing and Community Development.
