Senn passes away

Andrew Senn (MURP ‘12) was pronounced deceased this past Monday, August 4, 2014.

The following information has been shared by Andrew’s family to be shared with his fellow Humphrey alumni and the School community:

Andrew’s parents, Mary and Howard, had known for awhile that Andrew was in a manic phase of his bipolar disorder. However, when they called authorities to try to intervene, they were told nothing could be done unless he posed an immediate threat to himself or others.  They had no idea it would end like this and never considered the possibility.  After being notified on July 24 that it might possibly have been Andrew who jumped from a bridge in Saint Paul, they immediately came to Minnesota and have been searching for him since. Andrew’s body was recovered Saturday, August  2 and identified Monday, August 4.

Andrew had recently reconnected with his Catholic background and a celebratory mass is being planned:

Church of St. Joseph

West St. Paul, MN
