Reeder Named Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

John Reeder (MA '85), director of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO), has been named EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson's new deputy chief of staff.

The EPA has a mission to protect human health and the environment. Administrator Lisa P. Jackson leads this effort with a staff of more than 17,000 professionals across the nation to usher in a green economy, address health threats from toxins and pollution, and renew public trust in EPA's work.
