Braun directs planning for City of Anoka and elected president of MnAPA

Carolyn Braun (MP '91) is planning director for the City of Anoka. She recently was elected president of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Planning Association (MnAPA). Braun previously served several terms as vice president of MnAPA and worked for the City of Minnetonka prior to working in Anoka. Braun's planning experience includes citizen planning, having served on a planning commission, board of adjustment, and regional development commission; consulting and working for many Minnesota townships, and teaching. She previously was an adjunct professor at St. Cloud State University and an instructor in the professional education program at the Humphrey School. Braun is also a contributing author for the Planning Commisisoner's Journal, a quarterly publication based in Burlington, VT. For more information about the Minnesota APA, visit the APA website.
